E-mail: Accounts
Shows a list of your external e-mail accounts.

  Show me

For options such as how to how to choose which e-mails you download, see the E-mail Screen options, as they apply across all accounts.

Top   Account names
The account names list shows your external (internet) e-mail accounts.

You can set up multiple accounts, which is useful when you want to get all your new mail in all accounts in one go.

Top   To add an e-mail account
  Click the Add button
Enter a name to describe the account
Eg. My Yahoo account
(Duplicate names are not allowed)
  Click the OK button

You have now created a new account. The Connection settings will appear; you need to fill in these details before you can send and receive mail.

Note You do not need to add an account for Internal mail, one will appear in the E-mail screen by default.

Top   To delete an e-mail account
Select the account that you want to delete
  Click the Delete button
Click the Yes button to confirm the delete

Note When you delete an e-mail account, the folder containing the mail archive for that account is not deleted from the system in case it is a shared account. As a user, deleting an account simply means that you won't see it any more but the e-mails from that account will remain.

Top   To rename an e-mail account
Select the account that you want to rename
  Click the Edit button
Change the name and click the OK button
(Duplicate names are not allowed)

    Tech Note
Each e-mail account has an associated folder in the e-mail folder. The default folder name is the same name as the account name, but if you rename an account the folder name stays the same. This is fine, don't worry.
